Finally after a long struggle with my Firefox and Scribefire I can confidently say that am back to the blogging business. I have mob posts to make and oh my an awards show, so buckle up and lets blog like never before.

Most of the mograph project that drop on my table have a similar test, look, animation and sometime transitioning. However, for every project, I try to push the limits to explore all the possibilities while maintaining Quality and client needs.

Soon I will be doing a review of how do the A to Zee of most of my Motion Design Graphics projects. So keep those fingers crossed.

Arthur Re-Plugged.

After a heavy work out with the MTN Ad all guns turned to the Capital Markets University Challenge TV program. My role: develop a rich, organic, and representative brand for the 3rd installment of the University Challenge.

I must say the sound-bed and the quick Cinema4d Text looks got me through this one. Needed in record time of 3 to 5 days I had to edit out the Intro and additional graphic elements like Lower thirds, Backgrounds, and Screens.

Maroon and Gold form the framework for this package. It ran on NTV over the weeked and oh the client liked the Intro. I was once again greatful to the Lord for the efficiency and ability to entertain in a creative way.

Its now all about a fresh copy of WCN – Watoto Church News. I like the 3D logo model out and stroke particle tests built so far. Am doing the Silhouets soon and can’t wait to push off this 12seconds quickie.

I finally got hold of an MTN World Cup 2010 Deal and must say am grateful to the lord for all the juicy ideas, motion graphics workout and Editorial for this spot.

Fond memories of this spot include; a Raw preview of the TVC that dropped a line that forced me to reconsider 70% of the animation work then shooting my self in skinny-like jeans doing some football tricks out.

Overall I like the spot from A to Z. I liked the originals from the agency, they were quite detailed and I didn’t have alot of thinking to do with the flow of the TVC. However most of the work was in detailing the beauty, transition, vector, particles, 3D Pitch, Balls, Environments and sleek Color looks.

The client was happy and the subcontractors liked the Job. It challenged me to my first full individual MTN job. I liked the Ad and brings full memories of the time of execution.

Go. Capture the Moment

Recently completed some Art work for this Years Capital Markets University Challenge. I was tasked to come up with a 1 by 1.3m print. Learnt something very crucial, never do large scale artwork at 300dpi but instead 72dpi.

Niffty trick there for me. Here is the sample.

This is one project that keeps knocking on my door every once in two years. Hoping to take a dynamic, organic motion look if am given the time to do so.

More Web Applications

End of June, MAK’s transcript problems are going to be history. This by far is the most challenging task in here. Most of the interface designs are done, 1 service center up, 2 more to go. Starting off with the FEC portal, will end up in the last neety grittys and can’t wait for this. So excited.

Am officially harnessing, Javascript, AJAX, EXTJS, C#. Ohh what a Journey for me to walk. 10 weeks to have good skills at all these, the Lord is my Sherperd and I shall not want. For the first time am diving into books, core videos, ohh and MVC. Too much term-age. Yes.

Training, pass on the skills. I have to conduct classes and am going to be trained. Classes will mainly be User Experience covering CSS, JS and all. Albert Lumu, will be coming in to grill us in Application Design and Development.

Mograph still goes on

This time round, it is going to be different. Will be working after 5pm. 4 to 5 key projects. Select Garments, Channel 44 TV Branding, MTN, CMA, and CBS. Ya some good list, but will hope for the best and will go for Gold. I don’t hope to be part of PAM 2008 ya.

June is gonna be different. Detail in the Pixel – thats the theme. Oh and some shots from the months past.

Time management and an anniversary

Yes this Training serves to remind of the first time I met Lyllian and what better way to start off the month with Crazy Friday Dates. A lot of time management skills have to be gathered because of the amount of work I have to pull off. Mummy, I will be coming over from Thursday to Sunday Night. Hope to chess the installation of our DSTV bill, missed it!

Hi, April 2 2009, the year is cruising at terrific speeds. I mean Its Easter and Easter Eggs talk. Its been a week since the exhibition,we had a great Party aka “Cassava” evening on Friday to seal off the week, it was all great.  Jumped into this week and below are the Quickiees I could pick.

Elections 2009
The winners won. The tightest race for me this year round has been the One of Castro and the Guy who eventually won. It was Heart Breaking, but I loved the Humility with which Castro took the Defeat, being able to send Messages to his supporters even after the Voting. Wow, I was amazed

Then came, the Tech Voting. For once I knew Electrical / Telecom had put up a force against the Sturbon Solida Civil Class. Yep, Big Up “Anton” we did it (though I wasnt able to vote, but I was a big fun)/

Lastly, a Budonian, Gadaffi and a PAB buddy. I didnt vote and Gaddafi Won. Okay Enough of the Season, let now Jump to tests that Look like Exams

Control Systems First Leg.
Next week Manchester United takes on Porto while Liverpool takes on Chelsea. Thats on that Side, yesterday Wednesday 1st April 2009 I and my Coursement attemped something so colossal, doing a wouldl be exam in 2hours. Yes, our first Control Systems Musazi Test was a World Cup Exam. Must say i finished though i.e. did my Part.

Wow, the sun can’t stop doing its thing. The Exhibitees can’t stop raining on the Exhibitors. Man its a wave, complex and real. Just been 4 hours of non-stop explanation of Our Cause i.e ARMS. One particular guy tried to rain on us with his Knowledge of the ARs office but we aint scared baby. Note: We are not trying to Dethrone the current system, we are simply showcasing what we can do and we hope that its adopted.

Now presenting the Gist of this simple post. Over the last few hours I have gathered a set of simple tips to all those whoe ever want to exhibit. Here we go;

• Be articulate as much as possible, use simple terms that the Exhibitees wont flex over.
• Look at your audience. I assume by the time your exhibiting, you know what the Project is about, so don’t keep looking at the thing, give some visual (eye) contact to make the Crowd believe in you.
• Take a break. At exactly 1:30pm we hanged up the note “Morning Session is Done, Afternoon session begins at 2:30pm” Sometime, you need to relax and recompose your self, take some soda or even drink. It greatly refreshes you in every way.
• Answer as many Questions as possible, don’t chill the crowd in total amazement.
• Finally get Lunch delivered to you.

So am going to munch away this meal, be back in business at 2:30pm and off another good day.

Our Walk with God is only meaningful if everyday we realise his mercy is fresh every morning and that he has loved us so much that He declared that “Nothing we have done or nothing we can EVER do” can take us away from his Love.

Everyday am humbled by the fact that His only son came down and lived with us and above all he gave up his Holy Body to be pierced. Everytime I Imagine that Blood drip, I see my Sins Dripping, my Shame, all the Insults the Evil one has against me Dripping. Every Tear that he cried was for Me, he saw me. Oh how sweet the Mercy he has for me, the Love that no human Being can give, that even when we tell him “God we shall not do that again”, and we find our selves back in them, he chooses to Love us. How great is he, how Holy, how Righteous, he that Loves me.

For this I will believe in God, that he that Saw me when he took the Crown of Thowns, knows where and what am going to Do. That Everything that happens to me will work out for the Good of me. Oh how sweet the Seal of Our Salvation, the Spirit that he has laid upon each one of Us, that Believe in Him.

Surely Goodness and Mercy shall follow me to the Ends of the Earth!

Another one of those chiller sundays when Church Internet is super fast. Just finished Scoring MOV (just being technical), used TX soundtrack and Trinity Mugaga’s VO. It sounds perfect, thanks to God for the creativity, am so blown away but his Grace and favor.

Also today, I  picked up a Hi_res Break down of the Curious case of Benjamin Button. Honestly this is the best Vfx work I didn’t know I was watching, props to the entire eMotion Capture Stage, the entire Team, a superb job. Wish I could upload it here but wa. Am waiting for a Disc to Burn and I run back to my Campus Hat and do some offsite Planning and MOV work maybe.
